Madam Anita Owusu-Kuffour, Eastern Regional Head of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), has expressed appreciation for the significant roles played by stakeholders in advancing public health through the FDA's work.
She commended the dedication and collaboration of key stakeholders, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Environmental Health Department, ZoomLion Ghana Limited, and the Ghana Standards Authority.
Their efforts, she noted, ensured that regulated products reaching consumers adhered to safety and quality standards.
Madam Owusu-Kuffour made these remarks during the 2023 Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols service organized by the FDA in Koforidua.
She took the opportunity to remind the public to exercise caution when purchasing products during the festive season.
This precaution, she emphasized, was vital to guarantee that only wholesome and safe products were consumed, contributing to public safety.
