Delivering the keynote address, Professor Eric Daniel Ananga of the University of Education, Winneba, said AI was rapidly transforming teaching and learning. “AI is not just about machine thinking like humans, but about augmenting human capabilities to solve emerging problems, from virtual assistants to predictive analytics,” he noted. He stressed that AI’s influence across industries raised important questions of ethics and governance but also provided opportunities to make education more inclusive.

Prof Ananga urged the graduates to embrace AI tools to create personalized learning, support multilingual students through real-time translation, and cater for diverse learning needs in the classroom.

Alhaji Ali Amadu, Chairman of the Governing Council, congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to use their networks to help address challenges facing the college. He highlighted the poor state of access roads and the recurring acute water shortage as pressing concerns, while commending the alumni association, the Atebubu Traditional Council, college staff, and the Municipal Assembly for their continuous support.

Dr Samuel Addae Boateng, Principal of the College, echoed the call for graduates to leverage AI to enhance their professional competence. He urged them to remain selfless, truthful, and accommodating, while appealing for assistance to resolve the college’s road and water challenges, which he described as daunting.
