President of Malta arrives in Ghana for three-day state visit

The President of Malta, Dr. George William Vella, has embarked on a three-day state visit to Ghana, aiming to strengthen cooperation and bolster ties between the two nations.

Accompanied by his wife, Miriam, and a delegation comprising public servants and private sector representatives, President Vella's visit seeks to foster closer bilateral and trade relations.

Upon arrival at 's Jubilee Lounge on Thursday evening, President Vella was welcomed by Vice President Dr. and other government officials.

The itinerary includes a bilateral meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa at the on Friday, followed by a joint press conference and a state banquet hosted in his honour.

Additionally, President Vella is scheduled to visit the Manhyia Palace in to meet with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
