“I convey to the House that I have assigned ministerial responsibility for national security to the Minister of the Interior, Hon. Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak,” President Mahama stated in the letter.

The dual role is expected to enhance coordination between the Interior Ministry and national security agencies, ensuring a more integrated approach to addressing the country’s security challenges.
