Speaker of Parliament takes the chair in traditional kente attire

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin, was on Wednesday seen adorned in a colourful traditional kente cloth as he prepared to take the Chair in the Chamber of Parliament.

The choice of attire reflected Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and symbolised national identity and pride within the legislative space. Members of Parliament and parliamentary staff looked on as the Speaker made his way to preside over proceedings, adding a distinctive cultural touch to the day’s sitting.
