Reach for Change Ghana hosts maiden national edition of Partnering for Change

Reach for Change Ghana, a non-governmental organization that supports social entrepreneurs in creating sustainable solutions, held the maiden national edition of Partnering for Change in .

The event brought together over 70 participants from Ghana, Sweden, , , and , including social inventors, business and philanthropic leaders, policymakers, researchers, and academia.

The initiative was aimed at creating more social impact and building new alliances and partnerships within the ecosystem.

According to Mr Solomon Twum, the Country Manager for Reach for Change Ghana, the organization seeks to reduce poverty, and inequality, and create jobs for the youth.

Over the years, Reach for Change has supported over 2,000 change leaders in 18 countries, including Ghana, and reached 4.3 million children and youth.

Madam Sofia Breitholtz, the Global Chief Executive Officer of Reach for Change, emphasized that is a powerful tool that can change society for the better.

She reiterated that entrepreneurs and grassroots heroes across Ghana and other countries have innovative solutions to the 's problems, such as and inequalities.

Mrs Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Enterprises Agency, stressed the importance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in every economy, particularly in Ghana where they contribute significantly to job creation and the (GDP).

Participants at the conference, including Mr Kwesi Fiaka of the Nneka Youth Foundation, emphasized the need for operating in the same ecosystem to collaborate and partner with each other to achieve their objectives.

In an , Mr Twum emphasized that Partnering for Change was not just an event, but a forum for action, and an opportunity to build new alliances and partnerships for a more just and sustainable country.
