
Hon. Eric Opoku is the Member of Parliament for Asunafo South, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He hails from Sankore and was born on Friday, 5th June 1970. A devout Christian, he has served in Ghana‘s Parliament across four terms — the 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Parliaments — contributing significantly to legislative governance over the years.
He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Essex, completed in March 2023, enhancing his legal and policy-making credentials. His public service track record includes roles as Minister of State and Deputy Minister under the Government of Ghana.
