Hon. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson – MP for Ajumako Enyan Esiam

Hon. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson is the Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Esiam, elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was born on Saturday, 5th August 1978 and hails from Ajumako Bisease. A Christian by faith, he has served consecutively in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Parliaments, making him one of the most experienced legislators in the House.

He holds a PhD from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he also earned an MSc in Economics. He further acquired an MSc in Taxation from the University of Oxford, a BSc from London South Bank University, and professional certifications as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Practitioner from Ghana’s leading professional institutes.

Professionally, Hon. Forson has a strong background in finance and governance. He served as Deputy Minister for Finance under the Government of Ghana, managed his own company—Concepts-Online Ltd—as Managing Director, and currently chairs OMEGA Africa Holding Ltd. His blend of academic rigour and executive experience reinforces his effectiveness in economic oversight and public financial management.

In Parliament, he serves on the Parliamentary Affairs and House Committees
