The completion of Phase One of the project, funded by a Japanese grant of $55.6 million, commenced on July 27, 2018, and concluded in April 2020.

The Ministry remains committed to overseeing the timely completion of infrastructure projects critical to enhancing transportation efficiency and facilitating economic development.
