Mr. , President of the (GFA), has pledged to address the declining performance of the and emphasized the importance of stakeholder engagement in implementing necessary changes. Speaking at a press briefing in , Okraku assured that the GFA is open to listening to all stakeholders' feedback to improve football in Ghana.

Okraku highlighted the reflective period following the ' performance at the last game against , which prompted the association to make far-reaching decisions. He emphasized the need for decisive action to positively impact football in Ghana and expressed the desire to see all national teams, including local clubs, perform well and win games.

The GFA President outlined the process of engaging stakeholders to gather feedback and roll out strategies to revive interest in national teams. He emphasized the importance of investing in football from the grassroots to the top level and affirmed his administration's commitment to this approach.

Regarding the development of the local league, Okraku stressed that with the right investments, the league would grow, and players would remain in domestic leagues. He mentioned that proposals had been sent to the government to support initiatives aimed at retaining players and promoting a paradigm shift in football development.

Addressing perceptions of the FA being anti-media, Okraku refuted such claims, stating that the current Executive Committee is media-friendly and open to engagement. He affirmed the GFA's commitment to following regulations while engaging with the media and reiterated that their doors are always open for dialogue.
