Tamale, Ghana – Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, commended the Ghanaian citizenry's ambitious attempts to break and set Guinness World Records (GWR), viewing these endeavours as a testament to their desire to showcase a worthy country.
Madam Osei-Opare specifically highlighted the recent efforts by Afua Asantewaa Aduonum and Failatu Abdul-Razak to break records in the longest singing and cooking categories, respectively.
She emphasized that such initiatives underscore the citizens' determination to exhibit their talents and contribute to the promotion of the country on a global scale.
During her visit to Failatu Abdul-Razak in Tamale, Madam Osei-Opare expressed the government's support for her cook-a-thon journey, symbolizing the official recognition of these record-breaking endeavours.
As a gesture of support, she donated GH¢20,000.00 in cash, along with food items, to bolster Failatu's cook-a-thon attempt.
Accompanying the Chief of Staff were notable figures, including Alhaji Shani Alhassan Saibu, Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Sule Salifu, Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive, and various Executive Officers of the New Patriotic Party.
Madam Osei-Opare conveyed the President's greetings to Failatu, expressing satisfaction that events aimed at breaking world records contribute to the positive image of Ghana.
She encouraged Failatu to take pride in representing the country and called on everyone to rally behind her, providing the support needed to empower her to establish a new record.
