The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) in Takoradi has once again demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by donating essential items to the Twin City Special Needs School at Essipon in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis for a more inclusive Christmas celebration.
The generous donation from the management and staff of GPHA included bags of rice, cooking oil, cartons of chicken, beverages, biscuits, gari, sachet water, toilet tissues, and sanitary pads.
Dr. Kingsley Antwi-Boasiako, the Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of the Port, presented the items to the school and conveyed warm wishes from the Director, Mr. Peter Amo-Bediako, and the entire staff to the teachers and pupils.
“The donation has become a tradition by the management and staff of the Port to show our love to the school every year,” he stated.
Madam Crestentia Efua Bilson, the Head of the school, received the items with gratitude, emphasizing that the support would bring joy to the children.
In line with GPHA's Corporate Social Responsibility pillars of Education, Health, and Environment, the donation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of the students at the Twin City Special Needs School, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and community support.
