In a public service announcement, the Ghana Armed Forces, through the Department of Public Relations at General Headquarters, Burma Camp, has issued a request for assistance in identifying an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.
According to the press release issued on January 2, 2024, the patient, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital on Monday, November 13, 2023, by a good Samaritan.
The individual had allegedly been involved in a road accident on the Tema Motorway and was rendered unconscious.
As of the latest update, the patient is described as stable and is undergoing treatment at the Neuro Ward of the 37 Military Hospital.
Despite efforts, the hospital authorities have been unable to identify the patient or locate any family members.
Lieutenant Colonel A. Marteye, speaking on behalf of the Director General Public Relations, made the public appeal, stating, “The assistance of the media and general public is humbly requested to help identify the patient and bring his status to the notice of his family.”
The Ghana Armed Forces has urged the media and the public to share any relevant information that may lead to the identification of the unconscious patient.
The announcement, signed by Lieutenant Colonel A. Marteye, emphasized the importance of collective efforts to reunite the patient with his family.
