Key elements include extending business operating hours in strategic sectors, enhancing infrastructure to support round-the-clock economic activity, attracting foreign and local investment through improved competitiveness, strengthening trade linkages within Africa and globally, and leveraging technology, innovation, and skills development to drive productivity.

Discussions at the week-long event are expected to cover investment opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, energy, technology, tourism, and services.

Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II’s presence as Chairman sends a powerful message of unity between traditional institutions and the modern state.

Traditional leaders play vital roles in community mobilisation, conflict resolution, and promoting cultural tourism, all of which are relevant to investment and trade.

His involvement also highlights the growing recognition that sustainable development in Ghana requires inclusive partnerships that respect indigenous governance structures while embracing global best practices.

Ghana continues to position itself as an attractive investment destination in West Africa.

Recent policy initiatives focus on improving the ease of doing business, developing industrial parks and special economic zones, promoting value addition in key export sectors, strengthening the private sector through public-private partnerships, and advancing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) implementation.

The 24-hour economy concept aims to boost productivity, create more jobs, and make Ghana more competitive regionally and internationally. Challenges such as reliable power supply, infrastructure gaps, and regulatory bottlenecks remain areas of focus.
