In his remarks, the Asantehene advised the family to ensure that funeral arrangements are carried out with dignity and strictly according to tradition, emphasizing the importance of respecting customary protocols to honour the legacy of the late Apostle.

“Go by tradition to avoid any misunderstandings. Whatever you plan must be in accordance with tradition,” Otumfuo said, assuring the family of his full support. He also directed that details of the funeral preparations be submitted to his office for approval in line with customary procedures.

The family has not yet announced dates for the one-week observance or the final funeral rites.
