Hon. Ablakwa noted that the VIP Lounge often creates the first impression for high-profile guests, diplomats, investors and eminent tourists arriving in the country, making it important for Ghana to present itself at its best.
He disclosed that the refurbishment project will come at no cost to the Ghanaian taxpayer. According to him, funding for the project was secured through support from corporate Ghana as part of their corporate social responsibility and in contribution to President John Mahama’s Reset Agenda.
The project is expected to be completed within four months. Upon completion, local creatives will be invited to give the facility an impressive Ghanaian outlook.
In addition, the VIP Lounge will serve only Made-in-Ghana food as part of efforts to promote the country’s indigenous culinary sector.
The Foreign Minister described the initiative as a patriotic effort in the service of Ghana. 🇬🇭
