Four-year-old boy reported missing at Adaklu Torda in Volta Region

A four-year-old boy, Cephas Worfeli Vinyo, has been reported missing at Adaklu Torda in the Adaklu District of the Volta Region.

Mr. Belove Akpalu, Assemblyman for the Adaklu Torda Electoral Area, told the Ghana News Agency that the incident occurred on 20th August 2025. He explained that the boy had accompanied his parents to the farm to harvest corn. While the parents worked, Cephas and his siblings carried harvested corn to the house.

According to the Assemblyman, the children became tired and decided to rest at the outskirts of their home. The siblings later left the boy to fetch water but returned to find him missing. Efforts by the family and community members to trace his whereabouts have so far proved unsuccessful.

Mr. Akpalu confirmed that the matter has been reported to the Adaklu Waya District Police. A source at the Adaklu District Police Headquarters also confirmed the case, stating that while no arrests have been made yet, officers are “leaving no stone unturned in finding the victim.”
