
Hon. Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah is the Member of Parliament for Nadowli/Kaleo, representing the constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He hails from Charikpong and was born on Sunday, 17th January 1982. A Christian by faith, he is serving in the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
He holds a BSc degree from the University of Ghana (2006), a master’s degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2013), and another master’s degree from the University of Technology Sydney (2015). His early education includes a BECE certificate from St. Augustine (1997) and an SSSCE certificate from Lassia Tuolu Senior High School (2000).

Before entering Parliament, Hon. Sumah worked with the Ghana Health Service as a Hospital Administrator, a role that deepened his understanding of public healthcare systems and administration.
In Parliament, he serves on the Health Committee, the Information and Communications Committee, and holds the position of Deputy Ranking Member on the Human Rights Committee.
