Hon. Alhassan Kobina Ghansah – MP for the Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa Constituency

Hon. Alhassan Kobina Ghansah is the Member of Parliament for the Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa Constituency, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Tuesday, 29th November 1960, he hails from Breman Bedum and is a practising Muslim.

He is a member of the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic and serves on the Lands and Natural Resources Committee, the Security and Intelligence Committee, and the Budget Committee.

Hon. Ghansah holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon (completed in July 2015) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (completed in October 2012). He began his secondary education at Breman Asikuma Secondary School, where he obtained his GCE ‘O’ Level in 1980, and later attended T.I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School for his GCE ‘A’ Level in 1983.

Before entering Parliament, he was the Managing Proprietor of Classic Rahman Enterprise, a private business venture.
