The 2026 Civil Service Policy and Exhibition Fair, organised by the Office of the Head of Civil Service (OHCS), has successfully ended after four days of exhibitions and public engagement at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The event, which began on Monday, August 10 and ended on Thursday, August 13, 2026, brought together Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), and private sector organisations to showcase their programmes, products and services through exhibitions, pictorial displays and direct public interaction.

Held under the theme, “The Resetting Agenda for Sustainable Development in Ghana: The Civil Service’s Responsibility,” the fair provided a platform for participating institutions to offer on-the-spot services and educate Civil Service staff and the public about their activities and policy initiatives.
The Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry (MoTAI), together with its agencies, positioned its exhibition booths to maximise public engagement, attracting visitors throughout the four-day event.
MoTAI’s booths featured photographs and visual displays of key programmes and activities undertaken over the past year under the leadership of the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare.
A major highlight of the Ministry’s exhibition was the display of strategic policies recently approved by Cabinet, including the Pharmaceutical Policy, Textile and Garments Policy and Automotive Policy.
Officers of the Ministry used the opportunity to educate visitors about MoTAI’s mandate and the importance of the policies in promoting industrialisation, job creation and economic growth.
The Chief Director of the Ministry, Mr. Noah Tumfo, who accompanied the Head of the Civil Service, Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, expressed satisfaction with the presentation of the MoTAI booths.
Dr. Aggrey-Darkoh also commended the Ministry for the decoration of its exhibition space and the effective display of relevant policy documents for public viewing.
The fair also featured several side activities, including a cooking competition in which MoTAI was represented. The Ministry’s team participated and received certificates of participation.
MoTAI’s participation in the 2026 OHCS Policy and Exhibition Fair reflects the Ministry’s commitment to transparency, public education and stakeholder engagement in advancing Ghana’s industrial and economic transformation agenda.
