Black Stars hold training session ahead of Mexico and USA friendlies: Ghana News

The of Ghana initiated their training sessions at the Charlotte FC training facility in preparation for the upcoming friendly matches against and the USA.

During the intense one-hour session, Head Coach aimed to prepare his players for the World Cup qualifiers scheduled for November.

As of now, 19 players have arrived at the camp, with the remaining players expected to join the team later.

The announced that Tariq Lamptey, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, and Osman Bukari had withdrawn from the friendlies due to injuries.

The training camp featured the following players: Richard Ofori, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Alidu Seidu, Kingsley Schindler, Nicholas Opoku, Stephan Ambrosius, Gideon Mensah, Joseph Aidoo, Joseph Painstil, Salis Abdul Samed, and Antoine Semenyo.

Other players included Ernest Nuamah, Ransford Konigsdorffer, , Elisha Owusu, Inaki Williams, Edmund Addo, and Thomas Partey.

The first friendly match is against at the Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
