In the recent game between Asante Kotoko and Nsoatrreman FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi, Steve Mukwala, a prominent striker for Asante Kotoko, was awarded the Man of the Match title. Mukwala's standout performance included scoring the winning goal for Kotoko in the JA Kufuor Cup match.
As a reward for his exceptional display on the field, Mukwala received a Tecno Canon 25 smartphone from Tecno Mobile Ghana Limited, one of the sponsors of the cup match. Former Black Stars Captain, Steven Appiah, had the honour of presenting the prize to Mukwala after the game.
Expressing his delight at receiving the award, Mukwala emphasized the positive impact it would have on the team's morale. He highlighted the importance of maintaining their performance in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), aiming for victory in the league.
Asante Kotoko emerged victorious in the JA Kufuor Cup match against Nsoatreman FC, securing the title as the inaugural winner of the cup. The JA Kufuor Cup, an initiative of the John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation, serves to honour the former President while also raising funds for the foundation's activities.
