Premier League champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, are gearing up for their debut appearance in the CAF Women's Champions League tournament.
The Techiman-based team secured their spot in the competition after defeating Nigeria's Delta Queens in the recent WAFU B championship.
The upcoming eight-team tournament will feature some of the continent's strongest sides, and Ampem Darkoa Ladies will be eager to make their mark following a successful 2022/23 season. They clinched the Premier League title, FA Cup, and the WAFU B Championship.
The third edition of the CAF Women's Champions League is set to take place in Ivory Coast. The participating teams have been divided into two groups:
Group A
- ASFAR Club
- Ampem Darkoa Ladies
- Huracanes FC
- AS Mande
Group B
- Athlético FC Abidjan
- Sporting Club Casablanca
- JKT Queens
- Mamelodi Sundowns
Ampem Darkoa Ladies will compete in Group A alongside ASFAR Club, Huracanes FC, and AS Mande.
The competition promises exciting matchups as these top women's football teams vie for continental glory.
