The Abuesi Foundation, a charitable organization, has provided food parcels to approximately 300 elderly and vulnerable individuals in the Abuesi Community, Shama District.
This annual initiative is part of the foundation's ongoing commitment to supporting the elderly, widows, and persons with disabilities in the community.
Mr Philip Abakah-Wood, the Secretary to the Foundation, emphasized that this annual gesture is in line with their shared vision to serve and encourage the vulnerable members of the community.
The recipients received bags of rice, cooking oil, and other items to enhance their Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Mr. Abakah-Wood expressed gratitude to those who have supported the foundation's initiatives and called for continued support from the citizens of Abuesi, both locally and internationally.
He emphasized that collective efforts could make a significant impact on the lives of the most vulnerable individuals in the community.
