Sunyani to host community medical outreach led by First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama

Sunyani, the capital of the Bono Region, will host a community medical outreach led by First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama at Jubilee Park on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

A letter signed by Mr David Nar-ire Puobenyere, Acting Bono Regional Coordinating Director, stated that the outreach aims to provide integrated health and wellness services to the public, with a strong focus on health education and preventive care.

Services offered during the event will include HIV testing and prevention education, condom demonstrations and distribution, free screenings for syphilis, blood pressure, breast cancer, as well as assessments of Body Mass Index (BMI), nutrition counselling, and other medical conditions.

The outreach is being organised by the office of the First Lady in collaboration with the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and the Ghana AIDS Commission, providing participants with opportunities to understand their health status and receive guidance on healthy living, reproductive health, and overall wellness.
