Discussions are expected to focus on addressing online risks, promoting digital responsibility, and leveraging technology for child development.

Ahead of the summit, Mrs. Mahama reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to protecting children in the digital age, emphasizing the need to ensure that technology serves as a tool for empowerment rather than harm.

“Our children’s future is our shared moral duty and generational responsibility,” she stated, underscoring the importance of global collaboration in safeguarding young people online.

Her participation highlights Ghana’s growing involvement in international conversations on digital safety and child protection, as governments and global leaders work together to address emerging challenges in an increasingly connected world.
