, the President of the (GFA), has declared his ambitious vision to secure victory in both the and the Africa Cup of Nations () for Ghana during his tenure. Speaking at a GFA-organized press conference in , Okraku emphasized that achieving these objectives would not only be his personal aim but also a collective goal for the entire administration.

“My vision is to win the World Cup and the for Ghana, and that's the vision of everyone at the FA,” Okraku stated, highlighting the high aspirations set forth by the association.

Since assuming the role of Ghana's football chief in 2019, Okraku has overseen three major tournaments, including the 2021 AFCON, 2022 , and 2023 AFCON. However, Ghana's performance in these tournaments has been below expectations, with the team failing to progress from their group and winning only one game out of nine matches combined.

The disappointing outcome of the 2023 AFCON, where the failed to advance from a group comprising , , and , has sparked concerns about the future trajectory of football in Ghana.

Amidst these challenges, Okraku has faced scrutiny for the frequent changes in coaching staff during his tenure, having appointed four different coaches within four years as FA boss. Despite these setbacks, Okraku remains resolute in his determination to lead Ghana to success on the international stage.
