The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has visited 3 Dreamers Manufacturing Company in Tema following the devastating June 29 floods that caused extensive damage to the company’s operations.
The visit formed part of government’s efforts to assess the impact of the floods on local industries and identify measures to support affected businesses.

The floods destroyed large quantities of confectioneries, biscuits and toiletries, with losses estimated at millions of cedis.
Executive Director of 3 Dreamers Manufacturing Company, Bismark Offei Ansah, said the company had never experienced flooding since it began operations in 2018. He thanked the Minister for visiting the facility and showing government’s support for local manufacturers.
After touring the damaged sections of the factory, Hon. Ofosu-Adjare expressed sympathy to the company’s management and staff and assured them of government’s commitment to supporting recovery efforts.
She said President John Dramani Mahama had directed her to engage the company to explore possible interventions to help restore operations and protect the nearly 600 jobs the company provides.
The Minister also expressed relief that no lives were lost despite the scale of the destruction and reaffirmed government’s commitment to supporting Ghanaian manufacturers and building a more resilient industrial sector.
