GRA opens registration for Customs Proficiency Certificate training

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced that its Customs Division is organising a training programme leading to the award of the Customs Proficiency Certificate.

According to a public notice signed by the Commissioner-General, prospective applicants must be Ghanaian citizens aged 21 or older, possess at least a Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the customs clearing industry.

Applicants are required to purchase a voucher for GH¢200 at the Cashier’s Office, Account Block, Customs Division Headquarters on Liberia Road in Accra to access the online application portal.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 17, 2026.

Eligible applicants will be required to pay a course registration fee of GH¢3,500.

The training will be delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual sessions. Centres for the in-person sessions will be determined based on the number of qualified applications received and will be communicated to successful applicants at a later date.
