In response to recent media reports hinting at a ban on its operations in , the University of Education, (), has issued a media release seeking to dispel any misconceptions surrounding the matter.

The university's management expressed deep concern over the circulating reports and aimed to provide unequivocal clarification on key points:

Contrary to the circulating reports, categorically stated that it has not engaged in any collaboration with educational institutions in over the last decade.

The management clarified that the university does not have satellite campuses, physical establishments, or remote operations within Nigeria.

Additionally, UEW affirmed that it holds no affiliations with any educational institution or entity in Nigeria to award degrees.

UEW emphasized its commitment to a transparent and direct admission process for foreign applicants, refuting any engagement or collaboration with agents, representatives, or intermediaries in Nigeria or elsewhere.
