Sports Minister Kofi Adams highlights purpose of World Cup raffle, calls for unity

Kofi Adams has outlined the purpose behind the ongoing World Cup raffle initiative, urging Ghanaians to support the effort and rally behind national football.

Speaking on the initiative, the Minister explained that the raffle is designed not only to raise funds to support Ghana’s football development but also to deepen public involvement in the country’s World Cup journey. He noted that such initiatives help bridge the gap between supporters and the national team.

Kofi Adams emphasized that unity is crucial at this stage, calling on fans, stakeholders, and corporate bodies to put aside differences and collectively support the national cause. According to him, a united front will significantly boost morale and enhance Ghana’s chances on the global stage.

The raffle, he added, is part of broader efforts by the Ministry and the Ghana Football Association to mobilize resources and ensure adequate preparation for international competitions.

He further stressed that beyond financial benefits, the initiative is meant to ignite national pride and enthusiasm, encouraging citizens to actively participate in supporting Ghana’s football ambitions.

The Minister concluded by appealing to all Ghanaians to embrace the raffle and demonstrate their commitment to the country’s sporting success through unity and collective effort.
