Several key players will be absent, including captain Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, and Mohammed Kudus, as the Black Stars focus on integrating fresh talent and building momentum ahead of the 2026 World Cup. This comes after missing out on the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The team is scheduled to hold its first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s Kirin Cup clash with Japan. They will then travel to Seoul to face South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
