Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) has officially unveiled a new logo as part of efforts to modernize its brand and reinforce its commitment to the development of boxing in the country.
The unveiling ceremony took place on Thursday, February 27, 2026, at the Federation’s headquarters in Accra.

The new logo, described by officials as a blend of tradition and modernity, features elements that highlight Ghana’s rich boxing heritage while reflecting a forward-looking vision for the sport.
According to the Federation, the redesign aims to foster a strong visual identity for both domestic and international competitions.
Speaking at the event, GBF President, Mr. Kofi Asare, emphasized the significance of the rebranding. “This new logo is more than just a symbol; it represents our determination to elevate boxing standards in Ghana, support our athletes, and promote our country as a hub for boxing excellence in Africa,” he said.
The Federation also announced that the new branding will be rolled out across all official platforms, including uniforms, promotional materials, and social media channels.
Officials highlighted that the move is part of broader reforms to improve governance, attract sponsorship, and strengthen grassroots development programs.
Athletes, coaches, and stakeholders present at the unveiling expressed excitement and optimism about the change, noting that the new logo could inspire national pride and renewed enthusiasm for Ghanaian boxing.
With the new identity, the Ghana Boxing Federation hopes to position itself strategically ahead of upcoming regional and international boxing tournaments, signaling a new era for the sport in the country.
