The Black Stars have left Yaoundé for Garoua ahead of their decisive Group C clash against Comoros in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with victory essential to keeping their qualification hopes alive.
Ghana will face the tournament debutants at the Stade Roumdé Adjia on Tuesday after collecting just one point from their opening two matches.

The Black Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat to Morocco in their opening fixture before conceding a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Gabon, leaving them in a difficult position heading into the final group match.
Despite the setback, sources close to the team say morale in camp remains high, with players determined to produce a strong performance against Comoros.
“We are not happy with the results but we have to keep working hard to beat Comoros on Tuesday and we are confident we will go through,” a source close to the team said.
“As you can see, we are not down and morale in camp is very high because we know what we have to do to get it done on Tuesday.”
Ghana are still searching for their first victory at the tournament after failing to overcome Morocco and Gabon in their opening fixtures.
Head coach Milovan Rajevac is expected to make changes to his starting lineup as he looks to freshen up the squad and improve the team’s chances of securing qualification to the knockout stage.
The Black Stars are also hoping to end their 40-year Africa Cup of Nations title drought, having last won the tournament in 1982. Since then, Ghana have reached the final on three occasions but finished as runners-up in 1992, 2010 and 2015.
