Seventh Day Adventist Church receives GODPODS for evangelistic activities in Northern Ghana: Ghana News

The Northern Ghana Mission of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church has received approximately 1,000 “GODPODS,” translated audio Bible devices, aimed at facilitating evangelistic activities in the region.

The devices, worth GH₵448,000.00, were donated by the Quiet Hour Ministries from California in the of America.

The “GODPODS” contains the entire Holy Bible in both English and translated versions in five local languages: Dagbanli, Konkomba, Gonja, Twi, and Manpruli.

Elder David Gordon Wren, the Team Leader of Quiet Hour Ministries, expressed the organization's commitment to partnering with the SDA Church to share God's saving grace through the devices in local languages.

The donation, presented in at a brief ceremony, is seen as a crucial contribution to 's evangelistic efforts.

Elder Wren, accompanied by his wife, Janice, will engage with church leaders and stakeholders in the country to prepare for an evangelistic crusade scheduled for April.

Pastor George Kossi Ekao Amouzou, President of the Northern Ghana Mission of the SDA Church, praised Quiet Hour Ministries and its partners for their generous donation, stating that it arrived at a pivotal time for 's mission to win more souls for the Lord.

The “GODPODS” are expected to play a significant role in the spiritual growth and development of individuals with disabilities, particularly the visually impaired, who may not have access to braille materials.

Reverend Charles Anaara, the Northern Regional Manager of the Bible Society of Ghana, expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing that it answered prayer and would complement their efforts in reaching potential believers with the word of God in their mother tongues.

Pastor Whaley Aboungo, the Director for Evangelism, Northern Ghana Mission, SDA Church, commended the donors and partners for their support, pledging the church's commitment to using the gadgets to enhance activities for the Kingdom of God.
