PROFILE:Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam

Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam serves as the Member of Parliament for Pru-East under the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). A native of Yeji, he was born on Wednesday, 3rd October 1984, and is a Christian. This is his first term in Parliament.

He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Finance & Investments from KNUST, completed in November 2023. He previously earned a BSc in Computerized Accounting (2011) and an HND in Accountancy (2008), both from Kumasi Technical University.

Professionally, Hon. Boam has held significant roles in Ghana’s financial sector. He was CEO of Queenda 5 Ltd, served as Branch Sales & Services Manager and Relationship Manager at Fidelity Bank Ghana Ltd, worked as a Credit/Recovery Officer at Opportunity International Savings & Loans, and was a Branch Manager at AKAD Microfinance Ltd.

In Parliament, he contributes to legislative oversight and institutional reform as a member of both the Standing Orders Committee and the Backbenchers’ Business Committee.
