
Hon. Collins Dauda is the long-serving Member of Parliament for Asutifi South, representing the constituency under the banner of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Wednesday, 13th February 1957, he hails from Mehame and is a Muslim by faith.
He began his political career in Ghana’s First Parliament of the Fourth Republic and has remained a consistent presence through the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and now 8th Parliament, making him one of the most experienced lawmakers in the country. His educational journey includes the attainment of a Higher School Certificate from Navrongo Secondary School in 1981.

Over the decades, Hon. Dauda has distinguished himself as a seasoned legislator and public servant. He has held various leadership roles, including his current position as Chairperson of the Lands and Natural Resources Committee. He also serves on the Committees on Parliamentary Affairs, Judiciary, and Human Rights.
