
Hon. Daniel Dung Mahama represents the people of Talensi in Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was born on Saturday, 23rd June 1979 and hails from Tongo in the Upper East Region. He is a Christian and currently serving his first term in Parliament.
He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree from Methodist University, Accra, both completed in 2014. He also earned a Higher National Diploma from Accra Polytechnic in 2007. His foundational education includes SSCE from Bolgatanga Secondary School and a Basic School Certificate from Nakpanduri Presby Primary. Additionally, he obtained multiple professional certificates from the Customs Academy in Kpetoe and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.

Prior to entering Parliament, Hon. Mahama served with the Ghana Revenue Authority–Customs Division as a Senior Revenue Officer. He brings deep experience in revenue administration and public service to the legislative process.
In Parliament, he serves on the Trade, Industry and Tourism Committee as well as the Standing Orders Committee, where he contributes to shaping policies that support national development and effective parliamentary procedures.
