
Hon. Charles Bawaduah is the Member of Parliament for Bongo, representing the constituency under the banner of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Monday, 5th May 1975, he hails from Bongo-Beo and is a Christian. He is currently serving his first term in Parliament.

He began his academic journey at Notre Dame, where he obtained his SSCE in 1993. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Ghana in 1999, followed by a professional certificate in law from the Ghana School of Law in 2001.
Hon. Bawaduah has a strong background in labour and legal affairs. He served as a legal officer with the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), worked as a legal and industrial relations officer at the Trades Union Congress (TUC), and later became Executive Secretary of the National Labour Commission. He has also practiced law with the Law Alert Group.
In Parliament, he is a member of the Sanitation and Water Resources Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Private Member’s Bill and Private Member’s Motion Committee, and a member of the Special Committee on Winnowing
