Hon. Bawah Muhammad Braimah is the Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyeredumase

Hon. Bawah Muhammad Braimah is the Member of Parliament for Ejura Sekyeredumase, elected on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He hails from Kulungugu and was born on Saturday, 28th November 1959. A devoted Muslim, he currently serves in the 8th Parliament, having previously been a member of the 7th.

He holds an MBA from the Almond Institute Graduate School of Governance and Leadership, completed in 2020, and is pursuing a BSc in Public Administration at GIMPA. His early education includes basic schooling at L/A No. 3 Middle School in 1974 and a GCE Ordinary Level certificate from Tamale Secondary School in 1979.

Before entering Parliament, Hon. Braimah served in several key public service roles. He was the Municipal Chief Executive for the Ministry of Local Government and previously worked as the Municipal NADMO Coordinator, gaining significant experience in local governance and disaster management.

In Parliament, he serves as the Ranking Member on the Assurance Committee, and is also a member of the Defence and Interior, Education, and Public Accounts Committees
