Ablakwa inspects road projects in North Tongu constituency

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has inspected ongoing road construction projects in the North Tongu constituency and expressed satisfaction with the progress.

The projects inspected include the Dorfor Adidome-Asikuma road and the Juapong-Asikuma road, both aimed at improving transportation within the area.

According to him, the works will include asphalt surfacing, construction of new bridges, and an interchange at the Asikuma junction to ease traffic flow and improve road safety.

He commended the contractors for the quality and pace of their work and noted that the projects have created employment opportunities for residents engaged in construction.

The road networks, when completed, are expected to link the Volta, Greater Accra, and Eastern regions, improving connectivity and facilitating trade and movement of people.

He added that the projects will boost economic activities in the beneficiary communities and strengthen regional integration.
