The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, held a bilateral meeting last week in New York with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, to discuss ways of advancing relations between the two countries.
The meeting focused particularly on railway development and energy infrastructure, with both sides exploring opportunities to strengthen cooperation and investment in these areas.

The two Ministers also agreed to forge closer ties on a number of continental priority issues as Ghana prepares to take over the Chair of the African Union.
Ghana and Saudi Arabia will accelerate high-level engagements aimed at increasing investments and supporting the transformative Reset Agenda of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.
