Police leadership offers condolences to former President Kufuor on the passing of former First Lady: Ghana News

The leadership of the , headed by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. , paid a courtesy visit to former President John at his Peduase residence on Friday.

The visit was a gesture of condolence to the former President on the passing of his wife, the Former First Lady, Mrs. Theresa .

Mrs. Theresa passed away at her Peduase Residence on the evening of Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 87. She had previously served as the First Lady from January 1, 2001, to December 31, 2008, during her husband's presidency.

In honor of her memory, the Ghanaian government directed that all national flags be flown at half-mast for a week.

Additionally, a book of condolence has been opened in the former President's residence to allow others to offer their sympathies and condolences.
