Benso Oil Palm Plantation PLC (BOPP) has announced the appointment of Perry Acheampong as a Director, effective February 23, 2023. Mr Acheampong assumes the role following the resignation of Pierre Billion from the Board.
Described as an accomplished corporate executive, Perry Acheampong boasts a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in senior management roles at Ghana Rubber Estates Ltd. His expertise includes negotiation skills, dispute resolution, security management, strategic insights, and a commitment to sustainable business practices.
Educationally diverse, Acheampong holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Development from the University of Cape Coast, and a Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has also earned certificates in Civil and Commercial Mediation, and Project Management.
Perry's professional journey began as a Field Data Analyst at CTK Network Aviation/Grontmij Aerosat Surveys LTD. He later joined Ghana Rubber Estates Ltd as the Estate Surveyor and currently serves as the Corporate Affairs Manager. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company's land surface and overall business impact in Ghana's agro-industry.
Acheampong is recognized as an executive member of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI)- Western/Central Chapter. His skills and expertise encompass land surveying, land acquisition, conflict resolution, corporate security management, lobbying, sustainable development, brand development, and strategic communication.
