If he attacks an institution, they say, “GOGO wants to burn the country.”

If he comments quickly, they say, “Wo pɛre dodo!”

If he takes his time, they whisper, “GOGO is becoming impotent.”

If he says “Wow! Wow! Wow!”, they say, “GOGO has become an ambulance.”

If he does not say “Wow! Wow! Wow!”, they ask, “But where is the Wow! Wow! Wow!?”

If he praises Government, “GOGO has been bought.”

If he criticizes Government, “GOGO is bitter.”

So what exactly is GOGO supposed to do?

Comment, but don’t comment.

Write, but don’t write too much.

Be quick, but don’t rush.

Take your time, but don’t become impotent.

Praise, but don’t be bought.

Criticize, but don’t be bitter.

And whatever happens…

WOW! WOW! WOW!

Such is The Burden Of Gogo.
