Voting is underway at the Ashiedu Keteke Sub-Metro District Office as the New Patriotic Party () conducts its in the Odododiodioo Constituency. The process began at 08:05 hours and is scheduled to conclude at 14:00 hours.

A total of 1,306 delegates are expected to cast their votes at two designated voting centers, established to expedite the electoral process.

The venue is heavily secured, with strict enforcement of accreditation cards for entry, ensuring a controlled environment.

Mr. Eric Okyere, the Presiding Officer for the Odododiodioo Constituency primary, expressed optimism about a smooth process but attributed the delayed start to the “late arrival of materials” by the party.

He anticipated a timely conclusion, stating, “They spent more than two hours going through the voters register, so we don't expect any problem.”

The primary is a contested race between Nii Lantey Bannerman and Abdul Mannaf Sowah. Bannerman, who represented the party in the 2020 General Election, aims to secure victory in a constituency traditionally held by the National Democratic Congress since 1992.

Despite the 's success in 2000, the party has struggled to reclaim the Odododiodioo Constituency seat in subsequent elections.
