Tensions within the ruling New Patriotic Party () headquarters continue to escalate as concerns grow over the perceived leadership paralysis, with accusations that the General Secretary, , is attempting to consolidate power at the expense of Chairman Stephen Ntim.

Multiple sources within the party's headquarters have revealed that the Chairman's apparent lack of assertiveness has inadvertently empowered Mr Frimpong to make unilateral decisions without facing the necessary scrutiny.

Class FM sources suggest that the General Secretary's consistent disregard for directives and advice from the National Chairman is exacerbating existing divisions within the party.

Disturbingly, concerned staff at the headquarters note a significant power shift, where the General Secretary, rather than adhering to established protocols, now summons the National Chairman for meetings and discussions.

The leadership approach adopted by Mr Frimpong is described as “assertive” and “divisive” by the concerned staff, who fear that such dynamics are gradually eroding the authority of the National Chairman.

The perceived imbalance in power dynamics seems to be causing apprehension among party members about the unity and cohesion of the 's leadership.
