Concerns have been raised by the campaign team of Alan Kyerematen, former Minister of Trade and Industry and flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), over anomalies discovered in the Register for the upcoming Special Delegates Conference of the party.
In a letter dated August 2 and addressed to the chairman of the Presidential Elections Committee, the campaign team expressed the urgency for these issues to be rectified before the scheduled super delegates' conference on August 26.
Nana Ohene-Ntow, writing on behalf of the Alan for President (A4P) Campaign, highlighted that aspirants were advised to review the Register for the Special Delegates Conference (SDC) and provide their feedback within a one-week timeframe after receiving the Register.
He added, “Some comments were made by the campaign team upon review of the register which the team is urging the party to address for transparency purposes.”
