In the Northern Region, specifically at the Yendi voting centre, tensions escalated as supporters of candidates barred perceived opponents from entering the main gate. Security measures were heightened, with police confiscating mobile phones to prevent unauthorized picture-taking.
Low turnout delays voting in Mion Constituency
Voting in the Mion constituency faced a delayed start, commencing at 7:20 am instead of the scheduled 7 am. This delay was attributed to a low turnout at the Sang Islamic Junior High School.
Greater Accra Region: Allegations and agitation
In the Greater Accra Region, specific incidents were reported. Roni Paa Kwesi Nicol, a contender against Ursula, alleged the camping of delegates and lack of accreditation for his delegates in the Ablekuma West constituency. However, the Greater Accra Regional Secretary dismissed these claims, considering them an attempt to gain public sympathy.
Delegates in the Ayawaso Central constituency expressed agitation over unexpected demands for accreditation by security officers, leading to a delay in voting. One delegate was reportedly arrested for capturing his vote in the polling booth.

Voting at St. John's Grammar School in the Trobu constituency began at 7:05 am. Despite the directive against displaying campaign materials, aspirant materials were observed at the polling station.
Challenges at Weija-Gbewa and Tuba Astro Turf
Delegates at Weija-Gbewa sought accreditation before voting, causing a delay in the voting process. Similarly, delegates were denied entry to the Tuba Astro Turf in the Bortianor Ngleshie Amafrom constituency due to a lack of accreditation.
