NDC holds 24-Hour Economy Health Walk in Ketu South

Hundreds of residents flooded the streets of on Holy Saturday to participate in a health walk dubbed the “ Health Walk,” organized by the youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress ().

Adorned in branded T-shirts featuring the slogan and other attire, participants, including national and regional executives, Members of , and parliamentary candidates, took part in the walk. Carrying placards explaining the 24-hour policy and advocating for the party's return to power, the event aimed to rally support for the NDC ahead of the upcoming elections.

Speakers at the conclusion of the walk expressed concern over the current state of the country, contrasting it with the conditions when the NDC was in power. Mr. Eric Edem Agbana, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ketu North, emphasized 's significance to the party and urged residents to support the NDC in the upcoming elections. He promised development under a future NDC government led by Flagbearer .

MP for , Mr. Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey, highlighted Ketu South's importance in securing victory for the NDC in the upcoming elections, urging voters to consider the rise in commodity prices since the came to power in 2017.

Mr. Osman Ayariga, Deputy National Youth Organiser of the NDC, assured that the next NDC government would prioritize the youth and encouraged them to actively campaign for the party.

Volta Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Mawutor Agbavitor, explained that the 24-hour economy concept aimed at bringing about transformation, , and employment opportunities for the people.

MP for Madina, Mr. Francis-Xavier Kojo Sosu, commended Ketu South for its contributions to Ghana's governance, particularly highlighting the advocacy work of MP Dzifa Abla Gomashie for marginalized groups.

In response, Madam Gomashie urged constituents to vote for her for a second term and to bring back Mr. Mahama for a prosperous Ketu South, assuring continued support from the NDC.
